WINNING IS NOT THE END

It was a happy surprise—big wins, ones we did not expect. We were ready to brace ourselves for another loss, but God has his plans laid out. It’s now up to us to take advantage of these wins and make them count, really count. 

Winning is not the end—it is only the beginning of a longer, harder fight. We are living in a time when disinformation has not only distorted facts but has begun to redefine our values, our history, and our identity as Filipinos. The wrong has been normalized. The lie has been rewarded. And the truth, too often, has been silenced.

We must act now. Because if we do nothing, we will get more of what we tolerate. 

“Build Pilipinas, you are not just the future, you are THE NOW. We’ve already seen what you can do. Your energy, your ideas, your courage, they matter NOW.” These words from Sen. Risa Hontiveros, in her message during Lundag ng Pag-Asa at Lakas, should serve as an inspiration and a challenge for us to keep going. 2028 is not far off, and we need to continue what we have started.

We will be stronger. As we continue to grow our network, we will also continue to build bridges through our stories of hope and inspiration.

We will be louder. Let us encourage our allies to be silent no more. TRUTH BEYOND FACTS. As our President, Jason Gonzales, would always remind us, “we need to expand our understanding of the truth, beyond mere data or information. The larger battle is to tell the truth as a story.”

We will be bolder. Our fight for the truth will be fiercer. Our campaign for good governance, democracy, and social justice will create ripples and will reach far and wide.

Thank you to all our energetic volunteers who keep the fire burning, to our generous donors who believe in what we stand for, to our partners who, by validating our mission, affirm our resolve to push forward. The uphill battle becomes bearable with all of you by our side.

The road to 2028 is existential. Let’s get to work NOW.
